Bonita Thomas Lacy
Founder and Creator, 4-40-400 Capital Venture Fund for social impact

Bonita Thomas Lacy is a social impact entrepreneur, community advocate, and strategic leader and social solutions developer.  With more than 25 years of experience providing guidance from start ups leadership, nonprofit service, entrepreneurship, and government consulting.

The founder of Healing Hearts of Families USA Ministries, she has spent decades working to strengthen families and support healthier, safer, and more stable communities across southeastern US. Her work has included community- government liason solutions, restorative justice initiatives, and programs designed to address barriers created by government affecting family stability and economic opportunities.

The 4-40-400 Capital Venture Fund grew out of her recognition that something has to be done as many Black descendant families face persistent financial challenges connected to historical inequities and limited access to wealth-building opportunities due to the institution of slavery.

Through 4-40-400, Bonita seeks to unite willing descendants on both sides of the stories of American people, philanthropists, influencers, faith leaders, businesses, as everyday individuals around a shared commitment to practical economic solution to address the Black wealth gap.

Her vision: Heal history, build wealth, and create legacies through voluntary action of people to multiply and make a measurable social impact.
